TOURNAMENT BRACKET WILL BE UPDATED ON A DAY BY DAY BASIS

The 2023 DRVC Postseason Tournament will be held at Liberty School

Seeding for the DRVC Postseason Tournament are based off of team rankings. Team rankings and the process for determining team rankings can be found on the "Rankings" page.

All games will be played according to the DRVC Postseason Tournament Schedule which will be posted following the conclusion of all DRVC Regular Season games. 

All games will follow the same formatting as regular season games. Teams will play a full 7 innings with the team at the end of 7 innings with more runs scored being declared the winner.

Teams with a higher seed will be designated as the "home" team. The lower seed in a matchup could be designated as the home team in the case that the lower seeded team is coming out of the winner's bracket to face a higher seed already in the loser's bracket.

Teams seeded 7 through 10 will play a "Play-In" game to determine the final two seeds of the tournament. These Play-In games will be single elimination and the losers of each of these two games will be eliminated from the tournament. The 10th seeded team will play the 7th seeded at the 7th seeded team's home field. The 9th seeded team will play the 8th seeded at the 8th seeded team's home field. The lowest seeded team of the two Play-In game winners will face the 1 seed in round one and the highest seeded team of the two Play-In game winners will face the 2 seed in round one.

• (9) Cannon County Lions @ (8) Forrest Rockets

After the remaining 8 teams are seeded, the tournament will follow a standard 8 team, double-elimination bracket format, which can be seen above. 

The first round of the tournament is scheduled for Thursday, April 20th and will be played at the higher seed's home field:

• Game 1 5:30PM:

• Game 2 5:30PM: 
• (7) Liberty Patriots @ (2) Cascade Champions
• Game 3 5:00PM: 
• (6) Eagleville Eagles @ (3) Community Vikings
• Game 4 5:30PM: 
• (5) Huntland Hornets @ (4) Westwood Rockets

The second round and beyond will be held at Liberty School. Below is the layout for the remaining rounds and their dates:

*If the (2) Cascade Champions win, they will be declared the Champions of the DRVC Tournament. If the Winner of Game 13 wins, a second matchup between the two teams will be played on Friday, April 28*

Seventh Round Tuesday, May 2 (if necessary):

• Game 15 5:00PM: 
• Winner of Game 14 v Loser of Game 14

*If Game 15 is played, the winner of the matchup will be declared the Champions of the DRVC Tournament*
