Team ranking is determined in this order:
Total wins is the first determining factor between teams in deciding a team's rank. So a team with 5 wins will be ranked higher than a team with 4 wins. If teams have the same number of wins, the teams will refer to their head to head record to determine who wins the tie breaker.
Head to Head Record is the record two or more teams possess that shows the results of any games played against each other in conference play.

Matching Head to Head Record:
Head to Head Record for 3 or More Teams:
If head to head record is not able to determine the tie breaker between two teams, each team's Points Score will be used. Points Score is defined below.
Points are scored based on the number of wins and losses and what seed the opponents of those wins or losses possess. For example, a win over a team ranked 3rd would be worth more points than a win over a team who is ranked 7th and conversely a loss to a team ranked 3rd would be better than loss to a team ranked 7th. These points are used to determine rankings as a tie breaker between teams who have the same record.
Points are scored by a team after every game a team wins or loses. Points are scored as follows:
Wins:
For every win a team receives they are awarded a certain amount of points which corresponds directly to the win percentage of the team they just beat.
For example Team A beats Team B. Team B has 2 wins and 1 loss for a win percentage of .667. Team A would then be awarded .667 points for beating Team B.
Each win is tallied together to get a team's "Wins Points Score"
Losses:
For every loss a team receives they are deducted a certain amount of points which corresponds directly to the win percentage of the team that just defeated them.
The points deducted from a teams Points Score is equal to the win percentage of the team that defeated them minus 1.
For example, Team A loses to Team B. Team B has 2 wins and 1 loss for a win percentage of .667. Team A would then be deducted .333 points for losing to Team B because Team B's winning percentage minus 1 is equal to -.333.
Each loss is tallied together to get a team's "Losses Points Score"
The points of all wins and losses are summed together to get a team's "Points Score". This points score is used as a tie breaker between teams with the same conference and head to head record.
If each team in a tie breaker situation possess the same head to head record and have the same Points Score then a coin flip will be used as the next tie breaker.
If each team's Head to Head Record and Points Score are not able to determine the tie breaker, a coin flip will be used.
Coin Flip Between 2 Teams:
Coin Flip Between 3 Teams:
*Win percentage will only be used when one of the two teams in question have not been able to play a full conference schedule due to weather or other unavoidable circumstances.*
If two teams have the same number of wins but one team has played fewer games than the other, the win percentage of each team will be used to determine the winner of the tie breaker. Win percentage is simply the number of wins a team has divided by the number of games played total (only conference games will apply in regards to team wins and team games played). Whichever team has the greater win percentage in regards to conference play will be awarded the tie breaker.
